Our Initial Encouragement
Psalm 30:1 BBE (Bible in Basic English)
I will give you praise and honour, O Lord, because through you I have been lifted up; you have not given my haters cause to be glad over me.
Psalm 18:17-19 ESV17 He rescued me from my strong enemy and from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me. 18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support. 19 He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me.

From Discouragement to Encouragement
Bill Hybels of WillowCreek, IL
has been recorded as saying the most important thing you can bring to your own is your energy.
I submit this too is in every aspect of life, and we must be found encouraged ourselves earnestly-not faking it
Pastor Ray of Bayside Church, CA
said the most important thing he can do is stay encouraged himself...rise up, stand up, get up, look up, reach up.. to The LORD
1 Sam30:6 And David was greatly distressed ; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved , every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged (strengthened) himself in the LORD his God.
Proverbs 24:16-17
for the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity. Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles
Our Reminded Encouragement
Galatians 6: 9NLT- So don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time.
Psalm 37: 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
Matthew 24:13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
Trace & Track The Flash Point of our Fight
1 Corin.9:26b I do not fight (box) like a man beating the air.
Because you Are in A Fight for your Life:
Ex13:17When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near. For God said,"Lest the people change their minds when they see war and return to Egypt."18 But God led the people around by the way of the wilderness to Egypt equipped for battle.Eph.6:12MSG- This is no afternoon athletic contest that we'll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.
Trace & Track The Flash Point of our Fight
Gen. 3: 15 “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."
- God Speaking- introduces this violence
- A Fight took place in heaven with lucifer...
Gen. 3: 1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God actually say
- The serpent is the devil and deceiver
- This original, age old, & Relevancy to our Fight Today is still satan’s deceiving us to doubt,“Did God actually say?
Gen. 3: 13c- ..."The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
- The Flash Point (def.)- a place, event, or time at which trouble, such as violence or anger, flares up
- So now since The Fall of mankind, passed into today
- you could be in a Fight for your Life in... school, marital relationship, respectful relationship with your children, financial poverty or prosperity, for your health, for your job, career, work environment... dadadadadada
- This is a spiritual fight and spiritual warfare
- I would like to Turn up TheTreaching for a moment and Trace & Track me in these Revelatory Truths from Genesis- The Beginning of Beginnings Regarding our Fight
our Fight-Treaching Truths of R* Knowledge
- R* Mankind was not designed to fight, battle, war & be in conflict
- R* We were created to nourish, cultivate, cause the world to be ordered and flourish
Gen. 2:15 Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate (nourish & cause it to flourish) and keep it
- But how many of us see or feel like we are in a spiritual war zone, warfare, conflict, battle, A Fight
- R* the serpent, satan, adversary, enemy, devil, lucifer, was in conflict within himself, then with God & Creator
- R*and then man took on the same sin nature of satan
- robbery, murder, & High Treason of Earth was handed over to the fowler of the air (devil) from the fall of man
- dominion -> dominated
- order -> disorder
- multiplying -> dividing
- keeper -> killer
- flourishing -> decaying
- R* The last one to be created, and the first in conflict.
- Therefore, there was a boxing match between our adversary and with man, and ... we loss by a Knock Down, a Knock Out, or at least A TKO
Word of Encouragemnet is for sure: “when man throws in your Towel...Jesus Picks It Up!”
Technical Knock Out
We may have felt outmatched, outsized, outdone, outwitted, outdated, and out of style at times in our battle and fight for our lives...Inevitably being weakened, potentially exhausted, & expressly torn between our faith and our fight, our reliance on Jesus and our realities, between our rising up again and our remaining knocked out
How to Endure During TKO's
How to Endure During TKO's
2 Corin 4: 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. 11 For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So death is at work in us, but life in you.
2 Corin 11: 23 Are they servants of Christ? I am a better one--I am talking like a madman--with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and often near death. 24 Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the forty lashes less one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; 26 on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, danger from my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers;
2 Corin 11: 27 in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure. 28 And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to fall, and I am not indignant? 30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.
6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Lord, do you wash my feet?" 7 Jesus answered him, "What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand." 8 Peter said to him, "You shall never wash my feet." Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no share with me." 9 Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!" 10 Jesus said to him, "The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you." 11 For he knew who was to betray him; that was why he said, "Not all of you are clean." 12 When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, "Do you understand what I have done to you?
13 You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you. 16 Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
Matthew 27: 15 Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release for the crowd any one prisoner whom they wanted. 16 And they had then a notorious prisoner called Barabbas. 17 So when they had gathered, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release for you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?" 18 For he knew that it was out of envy that they had delivered him up. 19 Besides, while he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent word to him, "Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered much because of him today in a dream." 20 Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus. 21 The governor again said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release for you?" And they said, "Barabbas."
Matthew 27: 29 and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him, they mocked him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" 30 And they spit on him and took the reed and struck him on the head. 31 And when they had mocked him, they stripped him of the robe and put his own clothes on him and led him away to crucify him.

Jesus with His Disciples and the Towel
John13: 1 Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. 2 During supper, when the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him, 3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going back to God,
4 rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist. 5 Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Lord, do you wash my feet?" 7 Jesus answered him, "What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand." 8 Peter said to him, "You shall never wash my feet." Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no share with me." 9 Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!" 10 Jesus said to him, "The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean.
JESUS with Pontus Pilate and No Towel
Matthew 27: 22 Pilate said to them, "Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?"They all said, "Let him be crucified!" 23 And he said, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the more, "Let him be crucified!"
24 So when Pilate saw that he was gaining nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of this man's blood;see to it yourselves."
27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the governor's headquarters, and they gathered the whole battalion before him. 28 And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him,Matthew 27: 29 and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him, they mocked him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" 30 And they spit on him and took the reed and struck him on the head. 31 And when they had mocked him, they stripped him of the robe and put his own clothes on him and led him away to crucify him.
- Priests- Despised Him
- Friends- Shy-ed Back & Left Him
- Main Man- Denied & Lied on Him
- Crowd- Against Him, “Shouted Crucify!”
- Soldiers- minute they got alone, Mocked
- Ultimately, Pontus Pilate, Governor who wanted to be in His Corner had to throw in His Towel, washed His Hands and had No Towel to Dry his hands!
Jesus Always Leads us in Triumphant & Victory
